After falling behind in the global smartphone market, Nokia is trying to make comeback again. The company has launched many smartphones in India but the customer response has not been positive. Nokia is now going to launch the first user-repairable smartphone Nokia G42 5G.
Nokia’s parent company HMD Global said that the launch date of its upcoming Nokia G42 5G phone in India is September 11. According to HMD Global, this smartphone will be the first user-repairable smartphone. You will be able to easily repair the screen, charging port and damaged battery.
Specifications of Nokia G54 5G
The back panel of Nokia G42 mobile has been developed from 65 percent recycled material. The phone will have a 6.56 inch HD+ display, whose resolution will be 720×1612 pixels.
The G42 5G smartphone will run on Android 13 OS and will get 2 years update warranty. The phone will have an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset.
It will get 5000mAh battery, which will support 20W fast charger. The battery will be removable as the smartphone is user-repairable. You can replace the battery if it gets damaged.
The phone will support 6GB RAM and 5GB virtual RAM. Also, 128GB of inbuilt storage will be available in this smartphone, which you can increase up to 1TB with the help of microSD card.
The rear panel of Nokia G42 5G will get 50MP primary camera, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. At the same time, an 8MP front camera will be available in the phone for selfie.
Nokia is trying to bring something new in the smartphone to regain its customers. But whether people will buy these smartphones as before, it has to be seen.
