2. Modular

Modular plan allows you to choose coverage you desire. In addition, you can include the option of accident coverage only, or you can go for other options such as illnesses, behavioral therapy, prescription food and supplements, and wellness.

3. Major Medical

The Major Medical Plan provides benefits to a pre-defined number. It uses an itemized and capped sums list with a cap for each condition not exceeding the annual limit. Whole pet plans are affordable than major medical ones since only few things get covered under them at a time.

4. Pet Wellness

If you have a NationWide’s Pet Wellness, you also receive reimbursement on the vaccination, heartworm test, and some other basic services. The Wellness Plus is a PPO plan that covers up to $500 per year at monthly premium of $17-$22.

Nationwide offer policies on insurance for all the 50 states. It provides pet insurance covering domestic pets such as cats, dogs, birds, exotic animals including reptiles, guinea pigs, ferrets, sugar glider, and goats. Waiting policies comprise 14 days for accidentals and illnesses whereas a 12 months are applicable for cruciate ligament injuries.
